Self-Defense Instruction (SDI) Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and mentors.
Through extensive testing, certification, tournament-level competition, and continuous education, the instructors are highly qualified to teach, and they enjoy sharing their skills and passing on their art to their students.
Instructors’ Purpose
SDI Instructors shall empower each student to become well-rounded, versatile, open-minded, and excellent martial artists most efficiently and quickly as possible. The focus is to enhance the students’ choice of developing personal power, discipline, and respect through the teaching process. SDI Instructors shall master dynamic, fun, and empowering classes to keep the students earning their belts and stripes motivated, educated, and inspired to train for self-improvement and self-enhancement.
Senior Master Instructor – Sir Brian Harper

Mr. Harper has a wide range of martial arts training and experience. He studies Tae Kwon Do, Combat Hapkido, Kyusho Jitsu, Kajukenbo, Force Necessary Combatives, Filipino Martial Arts (FMA)/Pacific Archipelago Concepts (PAC), and American Kenpo Karate. Mr. Harper competes, and judges at the Colorado Karate Association (CKA) sponsored tournaments and competes in North American Sport Karate Association (NASKA) National/World Championship Tournaments within the United States.
